Dan Proft is the morning host of WLS-AM 890 as well as a respected political author and commentator. He contributes regularly to Human Events and School Reform News, among other conservative publications, and he is a regular guest on local and national public affairs programs giving commentary on a wide range of public policy issues. In addition to his radio hosting duties, he is a senior fellow at the Illinois Policy Institute and is Chapter President for the Illinois chapter of Operation Homefront.

Doug Whitley is a business leader and long-time advocate for business interests in Illinois, with a career spanning more than 30 years in both the public and private sectors. He is currently President & CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and has greatly strengthened the Chamber’s role in shaping a better business environment throughout the state. Before joining the Chamber, Doug served as President of Ameritech Illinois, as Director of the Illinois Department of Revenue under former Governor Jim Edgar, and as President of the Taxpayers Federation of Illinois. It is a great privilege to welcome such an experienced and influential business leader!
